Today, Jim’s Mowing offers much, much more than cutting grass. Bringing a complete garden service to the Crawley and Horsham area is David Dixon. Trained and qualified at Cirencester Royal Agricultural College. David covers an area extending from Dorking to Worthing, Reigate to Brighton – treating lawns, tending to hedges and trees, fencing, turfing and planting plus power washing patios and garden furniture and building garden sheds.

David has spent nearly all his life in the Crawley. After passing his city and guilds in advanced bricklaying and then 26 years in inflight catering before his job was made redundant.And then working for GlaxoSmithKline. David faced redundancy again. So he took the opportunity this time to earn a living gardening which has been the love of his life for the last 32 years. David and his wife Shirley are now in thier third home together and each time David has spent most of his time making the gardens a beutifull restfull place for both of them. David says I have the best deal I’m out doing the gardening enjoying myself, while poor Shirley has to do all that house work.

Most of all he enjoys garden maitenance and to see a well kept garden.He loves it when his customers look at the garden look at him with a smile and he knows how pleased they are that he is looking after thier garden. David has finally found the lifestyle that suits him and with Jim’s mowing full support and a shared ethos of looking after our customers.

Jim’s Group guarantees all jobs against defects in materials and workmanship. If you are not satisfied with any aspect of the job, contact the Franchisee first and then our office. Conditions are as follows:

  1. Our Franchisee must be given the opportunity to fix the problem
  2. If they cannot, our local Franchisor will be responsible
  3. If neither can satisfy your complaint, we will mutually agree on an industry expert to inspect the job (at our expense) and will arrange to fix any faults found. However, if no fault is found then you will pay the inspection cost and the matter will be closed.
  4. If a complaint to our office has not been resolved within 30 days, contact us.
