Abbas Ghareeb is the Jims Mowing franchisee for Newbury and the surrounding towns including Thatcham, Basingstoke, Tadley, Hungerford and even as far north as Oxford. He currently lives in Crookham Common, just out side Thatcham, where he has lived for over 19 years.

Having lived in the Berkshire countryside all his life he has always enjoyed working outside, and being a hands on person, has helped to take care of a large garden at his parents’ home from a young age. With green fingers built into his DNA, Abbas went to Sparsholt College in Winchester when he was 17. He successfully completed a National Diploma in Forestry and Arboriculture there, and also became a fully qualified Tree surgeon.

After many years working as a tree surgeon traveling around Australia, Canada and South Africa, Abbas come back to Berkshire. Rather than run a business just as a tree surgeon he decided he would like to offer a more complete garden service. Joining Jims’ has enabled him to do just that.

He loves all aspects of gardening and takes every opportunity to provide a service that exceeds his client’s expectations. All grass cutting is done to a professional standard and no tree or hedge is too large for him.

Jim’s Group Guarantee

Jim’s Group guarantees all jobs against defects in materials and workmanship. If you are not satisfied with any aspect of the job, contact the Franchisee first and then our office. Conditions are as follows:

  1. Our Franchisee must be given the opportunity to fix the problem
  2. If they cannot, our local Franchisor will be responsible
  3. If neither can satisfy your complaint, we will mutually agree on an industry expert to inspect the job (at our expense) and will arrange to fix any faults found. However, if no fault is found then you will pay the inspection cost and the matter will be closed.
  4. If a complaint to our office has not been resolved within 30 days, contact us.
