New Business Portal Launched

Jim’s Mowing has launched a significant upgrade to their business support system for their franchise owners. While paper remains an invaluable resource in the office environment, Jimbo v3 is a comprehensive tool for the busy mobile gardening business owner. It organises clients, job leads, quotes, invoices and payments electronically in a safe and protected manner. Less paper means savings in time and money.

Jimbo v3 has two elements. The first is the Management Portal which is accessed through a secure web site which means it can be used on PC as well as a Mac. The Management Portal is the control center, where changes to the settings are made and job scheduling can be facilitated. With a bigger screen on your desktop, viewing the information and making changes is much easier.

The second element is the App, which can be viewed on android and IOS (i.e. Apple) smartphones. The App needs to be downloaded from the relevant App Store for your phone. This is the interface that you will generally use during the day when you are out and about. Job Leads will automatically appear when they are sent by the Customer Contact Center (CCC).

The client’s details instantly populate the database. A swipe of the screen to the right reveals communication actions such as Call, SMS and Email if the client has supplied these. A simple press of the call button allows you can call your clients without having to manually enter their number. A swipe to the left reveals transactional actions such as Quotes and Invoices. A pre-populated invoice with the client’s details is ready to be emailed.

If you subscribe to Xero, the accounting package, then Jimbo v3 integrates seamlessly with it. Payments can be recorded and major credit cards can be accepted if you have an account with Stripe, the accepting agent.
